The Union contains three branches of government; Legislature, Executive, and Judiciary. The Legislature contains two sections, evidently making it bicameral. The Executive branch consists of the major commander, The President. The judiciary consists of a Supreme Court Justice, and the group of people that create the actual votes. Officials are chosen through popular vote on the legislature and executive levels.

Enrique Peña Nieto is the 57th president of Mexico whose six-year term began in 2012. He is a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party and served as governor of the State of Mexico from 2005 to 2011.
Current Economic Policies
Just as any other country, Mexico faces many economic problems. The major problems that Mexico faces are the illegal uses of weapons, and the rising rate of drug use. Mexico holds the highest rank for supplier of marijuana and holds the second largest rank for source of heroin. Many other drugs are made in drug labs in the mountains of Mexico, and are transported to United States. Unfortunately this is one of Mexico’s main problems because it turns off possible tourists for Mexico, which in the end, cause Mexico to loose potential money.
Besides the drugs that are exported, Mexico is a huge source for everyday household items. Things such as electronics, oil and oil products, aircraft, silver, computers and servers, fruits, meats, consumer electronics, processed foods, vegetables, ships, coffee, LCD screens, electricity, biotechnology, cotton, rolling stock, automotive and aircraft engines, cellular phones, metals, industrial equipment, granite and marble, and lithium batteries are transported every day. Mexico makes a lot of these items for very little and sells them to make profits, which is beneficial to the economy. Mexico is home to over 100 million people, and each person is very different. The max age varies. Most people live between the ages of 15-64 years old, whilst only 6% of people live after 65 years old. This is due to the lack in advancement of technology in medicine. The hope for Mexico is to advance in technology, like the United States, so that they will to live longer. Also, Mexico is predominantly Roman Catholic and most speak Spanish only.

The Drug Cartel ( Biggest Problem Mexico faces)
The drug cartel is constantly a huge issue Mexico faces. Mexican police forces most of the time are not able to bring the crimes to a stop, because they are paid to stay quiet. The issues become a problem in the United States because such a large amount of drugs are transported. Most of the cocaine and marijuana that populates America, comes from Mexico. The Mexican American border has trouble stopping these drug deals, because the bosses use mules to transport. Most, almost all, gun stores are illegal, evidently making it easy for drug lords to obtain security within their businesses.
